Shirin Keen is a strategic legal executive with high-level experience in corporate development, M&A, intellectual property, and high-stakes negotiations. She has built and led legal strategies for innovative companies, specializing in media and AI-related issues, including copyright, trademark, brand management, marketing, advertising, trust and safety, and privacy compliance.

Shirin has served as General Counsel at UnitedMasters, Deputy General Counsel at eHealth, and Associate General Counsel at Twitch. At UnitedMasters, she led Legal, Business Affairs & Talent Management, and Music Clearance & Licensing, serving as a key member of the executive team.

At eHealth, a publicly traded company and the first independent platform for health insurance selection, Shirin advised product, marketing, and business development teams, negotiated strategic deals, and managed business-critical litigation, including securities class actions and trade secret disputes. She also built legal operations, contracts management, and employment compliance functions to support a 2,000-person workforce across all 50 states during the pandemic.

At Twitch, an Amazon company, Shirin played a pivotal role in its $970 million acquisition by Amazon, guiding the company through key early initiatives and establishing a leading legal team. She led Twitch’s international expansion, trust and safety programs, privacy compliance, and the launch of major revenue-generating products like Bits, Twitch Prime, and Twitch Music. furthermore, she ledTwitch’s M&A efforts, including the acquisitions of Curse (a gaming media company) and ClipMine (an AI/ML company).

Before Twitch, Shirin worked in-house at Intel Media / OnCue, an IP-delivered live TV service incubated by Intel and later acquired by Verizon. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in scaling legal functions, navigating regulatory complexities, and driving strategic growth in dynamic industries.
